Verizon has had, what is arguably, the best wireless network in the United States for almost 5 years now. As with all wireless companies, at some point they have what everyone wants...Verizon was no different. It appears that they got a little bit soft and let their customer service efforts slip a bit. These days we have seen more and more people searching for Verizon customer service information. This can be for any number of reasons, but it is most likely due to their customer service operation being underfunded or overworked.
