Some lunchboxes made in China unsafe, Ecology warns - The Olympian

The Washington Retail Association supports the move and encouraged retailers to follow the Ecology directive, retail association President Jan Teague said.The decision to pull the lunchboxes from shelves comes on the heels of studies in New York and California that showed alarming levels of lead in some of the China-made lunchboxes.Under state law, Ecology can prohibit the sale of packaging products, including carrying cases, that contain More than 100 parts per million of lead.
