NNN Properties

One of the hottest investment property types these days are NNN (triple net leased) properties. Triple net refers to the type of commercial lease in place on the property. Triple net leases provide a very clean type of lease for commercial real estate owners in that they receive rent checks every month that are net of all property expenses (most of the time), including property taxes and maintenance. This is the closest thing to owning some for of bond, but still benefitting from appreciation, as most other real estate investments typically do.
