Incidents on Tuesday and Saturday of this past week led to the arrests of three individuals on drug and weapons charges, according to Carlisle Police Chief Eric Frank. Arrested were Billy Jack Harmon III, 33, of Sherwood, Terrance J. Martin, 29, of Little Rock, and Gary Hartwick, 41, of Little Rock. Harmon and Martin remain incarcerated, and will appear in Lonoke County Circuit Court on Feb. 6. Hartwick Was released after posting bail. In the first incident, on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Ptlm. Dan Hogan, an off-duty part-time officer with the Carlisle Police Department, Was leaving for work when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the First United Methodist Church. According to Hogan, the vehicle, a gray Chevrolet pickup, Was sitting in the parking lot with its lights off and its engine running. When he drove past it to obtain the license plate number, the pickup left at a high rate of speed. Hogan called the police department with the plate number, and learned that it Was registered to a Honda Accord. He Was able to follow it, and observed it pull into the driveway of a residence on E.
