LOWELL — Acclaimed author Eudora Welty said, “A good snapshot stops a moment from running away.” That’s what we do in Northwest Profiles. We go to parties, fundraisers, galas and the like, taking pictures of the people and activity we see there. We try our best to capture the flavor and mood of the event and showcase the hard work and hundreds of man-hours that go into putting it all together. For the second year, we’ve taken careful count of everyone whose special moments were frozen in the Northwest Profiles section. After combing some 720-plus pages, we’ve come up with a list of 11 people whose pictures were published most often. It’s no surprise that Dick Trammel Was pictured the most. The always-visible ambassador for health and Education causes all over the region logged an amazing 24 appearances. His picture appeared nearly every other week. Mary Ann and Reed Greenwood tied for second place with 18 appearances each. The couple were among those heavily involved in the University of Arkansas’ successful $1 billion fundraising campaign, the Campaign for the 21st Century. University Chancellor John A. White, whose picture Was published 16 times in 2005, Was the host or featured guest - More available
