B.J. Underhill graduated Dec. 10 at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. He Was the Magna Cum Laude graduate with a double major in both math and computer Science. Congratulations, B.J.A representative from the County Assessors office will be at the city hall on Friday, Feb. 3 for the convenience of area residents in filing their assessment papers and homestead exemptions.Three boys, D.J. Markham, age 5; Derrick Wilson, 8; and Anthony Johnson, 10, spent a large part of their day out of school Monday picking up trash on school property and in the surrounding neighborhood. Their volunteer efforts were greatly appreciated. It seems appropriate to recognize the boys for their work and hopefully when other local residents are aware of children doing good things for the benefit of others your reporter will be notified so they can be recognized through the news.Jeremy Batchelder is at home recovering from a critical injury received in an oil field accident last Wednesday. He Was at the Family lease near Highway 99 watching as rods and tubing were being pulled from a well when the pipe slipped from the machinery at the top of the pole and fell, striking Batchelder on the top of his head.
