MUIR - From Smokey the Bear to dental hygiene, a local Health Exposition gave Kids and parents a lesson or two in healthy living.Muir-area students got a chance to learn healthy life skills at Twin Rivers Elementary's Health Expo Friday. Principal Dayna Ellis said the program came out of the Food Service Director's Health Education assessment.“We did an assessment of our healthiness,” she said. “We found we were lacking in some areas.”The event featured a gambit of booths including tobacco Education, sun safety, seatbelt safety, massotherapy, Dentistry, audiology, fire prevention, Internet safety, fitness and emergency response.Ellis said she had Made a few calls and the next thing she knew she had a wide range of willing participants.
