In the competition, at an international level, the national selection will face up to the French team. This trial will be equally determinant in guaranteeing Portugal's place as host of the European Kempo Championship 2006. "The presence of world champions and holders of various national and international titles in both the selections is a guarantee of a fantastic show for all lovers of combat and martial Arts sports", underlines the organisation. The event will begin at 21.00hrs, with demonstrations of martial Arts, followed by preliminary combats and, at 22.30hrs, the awaited principal competition between Portugal and France. It is anticipated that a deferred transmission of the event will be broadcast on the station SportTv, on a date to be designated.
