Phantasy Star Universe delayed - Joystiq

7. Yeah, they should have just Made the game on next gen systems instead. It Was because of this game that I decided to buy a PS2. Hopefully, it will be able to run on the PS3 because of backwards compatibility and next gen gamers will be able to play it on their new system, but what sucks about this situation is that the game will not be taking advantage of next gen hardware.I’m a huge fan of everything Phantasy Star and it Was because of the enhanced features of each new Phantasy Star Online game that determined which gaming systems I would buy.The Dreamcast version of Phantasy Star Online had me hooked on the PSO series. The Gamecube version included Episode II, with new levels, enemies and better graphics. The Xbox version Was similar to the Gamecube version, but included voice chat which Was awesome for that type of game, and slightly better graphics. Then there Was the PC version, which I think added a new Episode again. Then finally, Sega announced that PS2 will be having Phantasy Star Universe.
