"Comics, like Movies, are essentially a visual medium, and plays are a much More verbal, dialogue- or character-driven medium, so there's not a lot of crossover," he says. "That said, I think my Fantastic Four is a lot talkier than other incarnations of the Fantastic Four, and certainly I can't think of a single One of my plays that is a truly traditional drama. I would say that the biggest impact writing comic books has had on my plays is that I have less time to write plays. That said, I'm a lifelong comic book fan, so in the grand scheme of things, there's no better (day job) than writing comic books."
