A trial started Jan. 9 in Anaheim's lawsuit against the Angels for changing their name from the Anaheim Angels to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The city claims the name violates the stadium lease, which requires that "Anaheim" be included in the name. Angels attorneys say that the new name technically complies because "Anaheim" remains. Team owner Arte Moreno inherited the lease from former owner Walt Disney Co.
