Jaguar's top stylist says that the next mid-size sedan from the British brand is coming soon-and it has an edge. The next Jaguar S-Type's features will begin to show up in concepts prior to the show, but the Geneva motor show of 2007 will be a likely place to look for the new vehicle. Jaguar's chief designer Ian Callum says the new S has to be "much braver" than the current model. "We have an axe to grind," Callum says, alluding to the car's middling reception and criticism of its upright styling. "We really have to make a strong step" with it, he adds. Callum also says the next-generation XJ sedan will be a "beautiful" car, still crafted from aluminum despite reports to the contrary.-Marty Padgett
